Starting with its 35th Anniversary in 2004, the New
Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation,
in conjunction with MunckMix, has been giving music fans the
opportunity to re-live the magic of the New
Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival through the
Jazz Fest Live recording series.
Every year since 2004 we have recorded
many of the hottest acts performing at Jazz Fest, and all of these
live recordings (over 150 in total) are available for purchase right
here on Every recording is recorded in multi-track and remixed using state-of-the-art digital equipment to ensure high audio quality. During the festival,MunckMix also produces instant CDs on site so festival goers can pick up live recordings of artists who perform that same day! All the recordings are available in the Jazz Fest Live Recordings tent on the festival fairgrounds. If you're coming to the festival, look for the sign below to be displayed on stage for every performance we're recording, and don't forget to drop by the tent to check out the schedule and have a listen.
