FREE Jazz Fest Live app

For the 2010 Jazz Fest we created a FREE app for Apple's iPhone and iPad which lets you browse ALL the Jazz Fest artists we have recorded over the years. You can also download many of the live recordings directly to your iPhone or iPad from iTunes. Festival maps and schedules are included, and will be updated again for the 2011 Jazz Fest which takes place April 29 - May 8, 2011. 2010 GRAMMY Nomination

2009 GRAMMY WINNER !

We are thrilled that one of our live recordings from the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival - BeauSoleil Avec Michael Doucet - "Live at 2008 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival" - won the 2009 GRAMMY AWARD for Best Album in the Cajun/Zydeco Category. The Grammy Awards were held on February 8, 2009, and Michael Doucet was there to receive the prized gramophone statuette. Our warmest congratulations to Michael and the members of BeauSoleil for their great achievement. And, our congratulations also to Quint Davis - the Producer of Jazz Fest - and his entire krewe at Festival Productions for their dedication and hard work to make the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival one of the most celebrated musical events in the world.

2009 GRAMMY Nominations

Three of the Jazz Fest Live recordings from the 2008 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival were nominated for a GRAMMY award!  The nominees were:

- BeauSoleil & Michael Doucet - Best Album in the Cajun/Zydeco Category
- Del McCoury Band - Best Album in the Bluegrass Category
- Steve Riley & The Mamou Playboys - Best Album in the Cajun/Zydeco Category
