Review Comments: After a great warm-up in Canada, the first US show of the summer was an inspirational evening of music. The potent “Les Brers” opener was a spectacular way to start, and the 1-2 punch of “Black Hearted Woman” and “Jessica” provided a very strong finish with Oteil pushing the band to soar even higher!. In between, Warren sang lead on a unique medley of Van Morrison and Howlin’ Wolf that paired Van’s “And It Stoned Me” with the Wolf’s “Who’s Been Talkin’.” This show also features strong versions of “Walk on Gilded Splinters” and “Desdemona,” plus a unique outro jam on “Maydell.” Luther Dickinson, lead guitarist of The North Mississippi Allstars courageously entered the Haynes/Trucks "snake pit" and held his own in a 3-guitar jam on "Southbound" and "One Way Out".
